The final piece of the Immortal puzzle was finding an appropriate writer who wouldn't simply treat the text like a critical analysis, a writer whose words spoke a reality from being a part of the culture from the inside looking out and not the other way around. Bonz Malone is a writer, actor and a Hip Hop historian who has witnessed this movement from its inception. He not only brings his unique style of writing which includes personal anecdotes and eye witness accounts, but also a sense of truth that not many writers could execute, simply because they were to removed from the life. Our goal was to celebrate and document the journey of Hip Hop through the eyes of an eloquent and experienced witness. And through Bonz's personal and extensive experiences we offer a new sense of enlightenment.
