Immortal Brands, announces the establishment of the Hip Hop Immortals
Arts Incentive Fund, whose charitable goals will be focused on
aspiring students in the arts. Immortals Brands has chosen Scratch
DJ Academy to be its first partner with the goal of providing
scholarships, services and equipment to the Scratch
DJ Academy.
The Scratch DJ
Academy was founded by Rob Principe, Jason Mizell a.k.a. Jam
Master Jay of Run DMC, and Reg E. Gaines the author of Bring
in Da Noise, Bring in Da Funk. The Scratch DJ Academy is a progressive
education and production organization focusing on the education and
training of the music DJ.

The Academy is focused on educating amateur DJ's and enthusiasts by
providing them with the necessary equipment and instruction to learn
what has become a popular art form and musical necessity. Scratch's
goal is to unify, legitimize, validate and extend the role and importance
of the DJ into new arenas. The Academys curriculum covers everything
from the History of DJing to the Jay Master Jay taught
Art of Blending and Mixing. Associate professors include
DJ Premier of Gang Starr, Mista Sinista of The X-ecutioners, and DJ
Green Lantern of NY's Hot 97 radio.
The Hip Hop Immortals Arts Incentive Fund is fueled by direct sales
of a Limited Edition of Hip Hop Immortals Volume One. This
collectors edition will be printed in a distinctive white cover and
enclosed in a special carrying case, the Limited Edition also includes
one of a kind, memorabilia items. "For the socially conscious
consumer, Immortal Brands is offering the Limited Edition of Volume
One. The Hip Hop community, takes care of their own and their desire
to do so can be facilitated by a purchase of this collectors edition,"
adds Derek Axelrod of Immortal Brands.
